LUISS “Guido Carli” (www.luiss.edu) is one of the most prestigious Italian independent universities, strongly cooperating with the main Italian research institutions, industries, and public administrations. The Research Centre on Information Systems (CeRSI) is in charge of the research, education and advice on computer science and information systems matters within LUISS. CeRSI focuses its activities in several domains, such as business organization, change management, analysis of the social and economical impact of IT, IT governance, e-government, e-learning, IS security, knowledge management, e-health, and e-commerce. Currently, CeRSI research interests are focused on the organizational impact of IT both ex ante and ex post with respect to the implementation of new systems. The main contributions that CeRSI provide in research projects are related to the analysis of functional and non functional requirements, to business process and data modeling, to prototype validation, to the definition of business models and exploitation strategies, and to the dissemination of project results through the development of case studies and surveys and through the presentation of conference papers. CeRSI staff is composed by one full professor, two assistant professors, one research fellow and four PhD students. Furthermore there are a number of specialists and visiting professors cooperating with CeRSI in both research and teaching activities.
