This course is aimed at hot research topics regarding technological, economic, organizational and social impact of modern web-based technologies and Web-based information systems on learners, teachers, instructional and learning approaches, education, and lifelong training. The targeted audience includes but is not limited to Ph.D. students and researchers in the areas of Business Information Systems. The teaching methods will include:
- pre-course discussion of student current research areas and obtained to-date research results,
- pre-course reading of designated key papers,
- thorough evaluation of presented results and active discussion with classmates and instructor,
- active online collaboration and interaction between students,
- presentation of obtained outcomes, results and findings in a classroom in a form of course project presentation,
- individual consulting of Ph.D. students by instructor on designated research topics.
