Function

• Alessandro D'Atri received the Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering and the postdoctoral degree in Computer and System Engineering from the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
• He was professor of Computer Engineering at the University of Calabria, associate professor of Database Systems at the University of Rome "La Sapienza"; and full professor of Computer Architectures at the University of L'Aquila, where he also was the Chairperson of the School of Electronic Engineering.
• He is professor of Information Systems Management and of Computer Science, School of Economics and Master in Business Administration, at the LUISS "Guido Carli" University.
• He is permanent consultant of the Italian Ministry of Research and Universities. He was member of the Italian Delegation of the AIM (Advanced Informatics in Medicine) and the Telematics Applications Programme Committees (CE-DGXIII).
• Main research topics are: Information Systems, Databases, Human-Computer Interaction, Multimedia Workstations, Virtual Enterprises, E-Commerce, Medical Informatics, Telematics Applications, Computational Complexity, Graph Theory. 
• Recent research projects are FAIRWIS, MediMedia (TAP HC4013), E-ComItaly, Health Web Quality Evaluation.
• He is author of more than 150 publications.
• He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Information Systems and the e-Business Management and the International Journal of Society, Information, Communication and Ethics.
• He was the General Chair of International Workshop OESSEO2001; co-director and local organizer for the International Conference Ethicomp99; member of the Program Committee of: Ecis2002, WBE2002, CEPE2001, OOIS’01, Telematica-2001, WS2001,
